Paul Pierce has done some incredible things in his lifetime. Winning a championship, becoming the 2008 finals MVP during that championship, he won, was a multiple-time all-star, and was even in the NBA for 19 years. His latest endeavor? Not so much.

ESPN decided to part ways after the Boston Celtic fan-favorite shared a video on a social media live stream in front of 300 viewers.

According to multiple sources, that video consisted of him smoking, gambling, and drinking with half-dressed women. Copies of the video can be found online.

Many people were displeased and confused about why Paul Pierce decided to show NSFW content on an Instagram live. As such, ESPN decided to take action immediately and cut ties with him.

The Walt Disney Company owns ESPN and has decided not to comment on this issue right now.

Paul Pierce had previously transitioned to a job as an analyst on ESPN. He was most commonly found on “NBA countdown” and was frequently shown on other shows such as “The Jump.”

As you know now, that will no longer be the case, so it begs the question, “where will Paul Pierce go next?”

Paul Pierce posted a video on Twitter of him laughing and exclaiming that big things will be coming. Piggybacking with the video, Paul Pierce also put the hashtag #Truthshallsetufree. He followed with a video posted on Instagram of him thanking his supporters and his haters.

Shortly after this video, Barstool Sports founder, David Portnoy, was spotted on Twitter in what seemed like an attempt to recruit him.

Maybe he was, or he could have just been pulling a small little publicity stunt. It is Paul Pierce, after all. The man has done and said things we would never expect; maybe he will pull another trick out of his hat for us.
